Who doesn’t want there house to smell good? The power of scent is amazing. It can instantly change a mood or bring back an old memory. When it comes to making my home smell cozy and inviting, I like easy. Something that doesn’t require me to think to much about or remember to blow-out before going to bed. I’ve been a fan of wax warmers for a while now so when Walmart asked me to try out a new one that is now available in their stores, I knew it was a perfect fit.
I could easily put a wax warmer in every room in my house but that would be a little overboard as the scent from a wax warmer is much stronger than a candle. Whenever I have any wax warmer on in my house it easily fills the entire floor, not just the room, with fragrance so I like to keep at least one upstairs and one downstairs.
Wax warmers are also decorative. There are many sold at Walmart to match just about any decor or style. Walmart sent me one of their newest decorative wax warmers called the Scentsational Edison Wax Warmer. Unlike other wax warmers that I’ve seen and used in the past, this wax warmer is uniquely different in the fact that it is clear! I love this as it can be used as a miniature lamp with also having the added benefit of being a wax warmer. In our living room, we have one small lamp that we turn on at nights just so it’s not so dark in that room when we are having our family movie nights but I noticed that after rearranging the furniture that we needed a second lamp on the opposite side of the room to balance things out. So I placed the Edison Wax Warmer there on an end table instead of a regular lamp. It gives off a beautiful, nice, subtle glow without being too glaring or interrupting when we are trying to watch TV.
Scentsationals offers a variety of different styles in the Edison collection. The one I received is a bird cage ($19.88). I think it’s neat and different. I love birds so it fits my personal taste and style. The top part of the cage is removable and there is a metal tray that holds the wax cubes. This tray can also be removed when cooled in order to discard the wax once all of the fragrance is used or to change to a different fragrance. The Scentsationals Edison Wax Warmer plugs into an outlet and has a rolling switch mid-way up the cord in order to easily turn the unit on and off.
The Scentsationals Edison Wax Warmers use a 40W vintage looking, Edison style bulb. The bulb itself is beautiful on it’s own and gives a great added detail to the Edison wax warmer since it does have a see-through base. The bulb heats the tray directly above it and releases the fragrance of whatever wax cube you put into the tray. Scentsationals also offers a wide variety of wax cubes to use with any wax warmer. Each package of wax cubes contains 6 cubes. The only problem is picking just one scent. I have many favorite scents from the Scentsationals line of wax cubes like: Fresh Air, Island Palm, Illusion, Bali Shores, and Papagayo Beach. I feel like using wax cubes in a wax warmer lasts a lot longer than a candle and the scent is unmatched. It is also a bit more budget friendly as a package of Scentsationals wax cubes are only $2 at Walmart.
